Binfield put Earley in and kept taking the game back whenever the hosts looked ready to settle. Livingston Sengolraj made 60, but Matt Hayman's 2-16, Chris White's 2-22 and Richard Draper's 2-42 kept the target at 186.
Jack Green's 34 gave the reply a base and Ahmer Mughal's 51 became the main charge. The wobble came hard, though: from 86-1, Binfield slipped to 105-6, and then to 116-7 when Kamal Gupta fell.
That left White and Draper with the chase in their hands, and they did not give it back. White finished 38 not out, Draper 19 not out, and the 4th XI crossed the line with five balls to spare.
