Emmbrook and Bearwood put a heavy cup total on the board after choosing to bat. Matt Loxton made 111, Greg Davis added 55, and Jason Middleton's unbeaten 107 from 43 balls took the score to 319-6.

Sam Kennett kept Binfield in the wicket column with 3-81, with Tom Nower taking 2-58 and Jack Beaven 1-57. It was still a large ask, and the reply began with Kennett out before a run had been scored.

Frost then made the chase a story worth telling. He shared stands with Dan Humphrey, Tom Phizackerley and Oliver Lovegrove, reached his hundred in the 40th over, and finished 105 not out from 117 balls. The tie was gone, but the innings was a gem.
