Lovely stuff from the 1st XI. Thatcham chose to bat and were never allowed to settle for long: Dylan Wood struck for 4-27, Rob Pigden backed him up with 3-31, and Ben Clark's 2-25 helped finish the innings at 151.
Then came the chase, and it came quickly. Muir's 85 had the scoreboard purring, with the NVPlay card recording his half-century from just 23 balls. Chris Morgan added 26 in the top order and Arno Hattingh was there at the end, unbeaten on 26 from 16, as Binfield got home inside 20 overs.
