Sadly I have to report the death of Simon Massey who passed away on Boxing day at St.James hospital in London. Simon who was in his early fifties had a long association with Binfield Cricket Club and I'm sure all that knew him will be saddened at his passing. Simon won the '1st XI Batting Cup'  in both 2007 and 2008 and played a major role in the 1st XI gaining promotion back to the  Division 1 in 2007.

 

I know those who played along side him will remember him as competitive individual who disliked personal failure and was always ready to help others in their quest for personal improvement in their game.   

 

Our deepest sympathy is with his wife Sue and his family.
