Binfield Captain Paul Edgington won the toss and elected to bat. Putting BCC on a good start was Shaun Stephen Miller with 31 supported by William Sennett with 35 (including a six and four 4s).

Following the break up of that partnership, Chris Morgan again dominated the crease with a quick 41 not out, supported by Adam Marshall with 25 not out.

The pick of the bowling from Bracknell CC was C Chandler with 2 wickets for 20 and Chris White with 2 wickets for 29.

Bracknell's reply was stemmed quickly by two early wickets from Binfield's newboy Toby Lancaster (ended on 2 wickets from 10 runs). Kite, the Bracknell opener, supported by Alan Henly, was determined to keep his wicket and create an innings that could chase the total down. However, Daniel Furkins was chocking the run flow from the other end, eventually bowing out with a very economical 17 run spell.

Change of bowling brought on the spin of Phil Davies and at the other end, late call up, Chris Jones. Under pressure to score runs Kite hit several boundaries off Jones whilst Davies chocked the run flow from the other end. It was not meant to be as Kite finally succumbed to a ball bouncing off the seam and clattering his stumps. He scored 22. A Henly also finally lost his wicket to Davies at which point the wickets began to tumble.

Davies ending on a frugal 1 wicket for 12 runs and Jones cashing in with an expensive 4 wickets for 28 runs. There was plenty of support bowling in skipper Paul Edgington (1 over, 3 runs), Shaun Miller (1 wicket, 5 runs) and finally Matt Humphrey with a very sneaky 2 wicket for 5 runs from just 4 balls.

Binfield win by 69 runs bowling Bracknell out for 80 runs.
