Colts at Binfield Cricket Club

The Colts section at Binfield Cricket Club has expanded rapidly over
the past couple of years. Local parents have been attracted by the
friendly nature of the club, and as a result there are now over 100 Colts
members, with kids ages ranging from 8
to 14 years old. They meet for practice on a Wednesday night at the club
ground, where most of the coaching is done by two senior club members,
Colin Canty and Rob Carson, who are both qualified cricket coaches. The
boys and girls also play a number of competitive matches against other
local teams, usually on a Sunday morning. We are always on the look out
for additional Colts fixtures so if you know of a team who would like a
game please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
From time to time we also arrange formal coaching sessions for the
kids, run by ECB qualified cricket coaches. If you'd like to know more
please contact us.
Finally, we are very, very keen to involve more parents with the day
to day running of the Colts teams. If you are a keen cricketing parent
(or a very patient organiser!) and would like to get involved, we'd be
